Chip’n Win is a new sweepstakes casino that launched in 2024, with a focus on slots and tournaments as well as lots of interesting ongoing promotions. You can play from 46 U.S. states and Washington, D.C.
My Chip’n Win is covering everything you need to know about this casino, from bonuses and games to prize redemptions and customer support. It’s all based on my personal experience using the site.

Chip’n Win Promotions and Bonuses
Bonuses were a highlight during my time playing at Chip’n Win, with lots of interesting offers every day centered around free Gold Coins, Sweeps Coins, and a third currency known as Crystals. Crystals can be swapped for GC bonuses, SC bonuses, free SC spins and spins on their Crystal Wheel.
It’s especially easy to get free GC, and you can earn Crystals by completing tasks each day.
Unfortunately, Chip’n Win casino doesn’t give you any guaranteed SC with their no-deposit bonus, and they dish out more Crystals than Sweeps Coins by far.
While I liked the concept of Crystals a lot and I appreciate Chip’n Win getting creative, I do think they can stand to include some more straight up SC promos.
I opted into each promotion at Chip’n Win and I’m showing you how to do the same.
How I Claimed Chip’n Win’s No-Deposit Bonus
You’ll claim 15,000 GC and 15 Crystals after signing up with Chip’n Win.
Here’s how to get started:
- I entered my personal information, checked the boxes to agree with Chip’n Win’s terms, and clicked “Complete Registration” to finish signing up.
- I received 15,000 GC and 15 Crystals, allowing me to start playing games immediately.
- I opened my email inbox, entered my four-digit verification code on their website, and completed my profile when prompted.
You can claim six more Crystals by verifying your email, confirming your phone, and following them on Facebook. For this reason, I took the extra step to verify my information despite being able to play games immediately after signing up.
Chip’n Win Bonus Code
There’s no Chip’n Win bonus code necessary to participate in any of their latest promotions.
How Does the Sign-Up Bonus Compare to Other Sweeps Casinos?
The sign-up bonus at Chip’n Win is interesting, but ultimately less valuable than bonuses I’ve claimed at competing sweepstakes platforms. This is mainly because it doesn’t come with any free SC. Instead, you get 15,000 GC and 15 Crystals after signing up. You’ll get 6 more Crystals after verifying your info.
Most of the time, sweepstakes casinos give new players between 1 and 3 free SC as a starting bonus. I’ve received a similar reward of 15,000 GC and 2.5 free SC at Hello Millions, and you’ll claim a no-deposit offer with 2 million GC + 2 free SC if you decide to get started with Chumba.
You can use your Crystals to spin the Crystal Wheel immediately, but I only got 5,000 GC the first time I tried it. Their Crystal Wheel boasts prizes up to 7,500 GC and 25 free SC, but you might get no SC like me. I appreciate the mystery component of Chip’n Win’s promotions, but I’d rather have guaranteed coins.

Other Chip’n Win Promotions in April 2025
Here’s a rundown of the latest bonuses, promotions, and events happening at Chip’n Win:
Daily Bonus
Chip’n Win says they offer varying daily login rewards based on your activity on the site, meaning that they can technically increase over a week’s time, with the possibility of a “Mega Prize” on Day 7.
However, they don’t do a good job of explaining the structure in advance, or how your prize is determined. I got 3,000 GC, 0.25 free SC, and 1 Crystal on day one, and then 0.2 free SC + 1 Crystal on day two – even though I felt like I played a lot.
It continued like this for my whole time on the site, with no real pattern to my prizes. I’d like to see them do a better job of explaining how it works. On the bright side, I did consistently get SC via the login bonus, as well as Crystals.
You can click “Promo” from the website header and tap “Claim” next to your bonus to claim free coins.
AirDrop GC Bonus
If your Gold Coin balance drops to zero, you can claim 5,000 GC on the house as many times as you want via the AirDrop bonus.
While the name might be a copyright infringement in Apple’s purview, I’m happy to see Chip’n Win prioritizing free entertainment with unlimited bonuses like this. If you’re mainly interested in playing with GC, Chip’nWin is a great casino.
Open “Promo” and tap “Claim Now” next to “AirDrop” whenever you’re totally out of Gold Coins to activate this generous free bonus.
First Purchase Bonus
Chip’n Win has a number of potential discounts available for new players. If you’re making your first GC purchase, you can choose one of the following three packages:
- 50,000 GC + 28 free SC + 18 Crystals – $19.99 (was $50)
- 120,000 GC + 52 free SC + 36 Crystals – $39.99 (was $120)
- 750,000 GC + 350 free SC + 270 Crystals – $299.99 (was $750)
Their most generous discount happens to be their most expensive offer, and there are serious financial incentives on deck for big spenders. Still, I wish they’d offer at least one more affordable GC discount, starting from $9.99 like Chumba Casino and McLuck Casino.
Daily Tasks
Every day, Chip’n Win gives players new opportunities to complete three new challenges. If you do, you are rewarded with a varying number of GC, Crystals, and/or Sweeps Coins. If you complete all three tasks, you’ll claim an additional reward of 10,000 GC and 1 free SC per day. It’s a great way to boost your balance without spending money.
To opt into a challenge, you can open “Promo” and select “View Quests” underneath “Daily Challenge.”
I was able to access their Saturday Newbie Challenge on my second day as a new player. I was tasked with spending 20,000 GC, hitting a 15x win multiplier in GC mode, and winning 15 SC over the weekend. I played through 20,000 GC to win 2,500 GC, and I managed to earn 15x my bet size playing Aero. This challenge gave me 1,000 GC as a final reward. Finally, I received two Crystals when I managed to win 15 SC.
Crystal Store
Chip’n Win’s Crystal Store allows you to swap your Crystals for GC prizes, SC prizes, and free spins on select slots. The following table shows the available prizes:
# of Crystals Required | GC Bonus | SC Bonus |
10 | 1,000 GC | 0.5 free SC |
50 | 5,000 GC | 2.5 free SC |
100 | 10,000 GC | 5 free SC |
200 | 20,000 GC | 10 free SC |
You can also exchange a minimum of 101 Crystals for five free spins worth 0.2 free SC a piece. If you want to take a chance with more extra spins (and you have hundreds of Crystals stashed away), you can exchange up to 940 Crystals for a maximum of 25 free spins worth 2 SC each.
Their free spins were valid on three Hold & Spin machines during my review, but their supported games change every so often. I had the most fun playing Dogs & Tails with my leftover Crystals.
Overall, I found Crystals to be a fun addition to the overall experience, especially since the vast majority of sweeps casinos just stick to GC and SC.
Crystal Wheel
The most compelling feature of Chip’n Win’s Crystal Store is their high-powered Crystal Wheel.
So long as you have at least 15 Crystals to spare, you can spin the wheel as many times as you want. Potential prizes begin at 5,000 GC, but you can win up to 7,500 GC + 25 free SC instantly.
I got a paltry 5,000 GC the first time I spent my Crystals, but I won a larger bonus of 4,000 GC + 3 free SC my second time around. I spun the wheel seven times over my week on the site, and I never felt like the results were the same.
GC/SC Tournaments
Chip’n Win hosts frequent tournaments for GC and SC players. I had the chance to participate in their “Friday Spring Tournament,” which boasted a top prize of 500,000 GC and 5 free SC.
I had to spend at least 200 GC per spin on any of 16 slots from 3 Oaks Gaming. I like how I was prompted to choose an eligible game right from the promo screen, as this made it clear to see which games I needed to focus on.
No matter which form of currency you’re using to play, the rules work the same. You’ll get two points when you hit a 2x – 10x multiplier, receive ten points when you hit a 10x – 25x multiplier, and get 25 points if you manage to hit 25x or more during the base game using your own coin. Multipliers you hit in bonus rounds don’t count.
Your eligible spins are capped at 500, which is a nice touch that prevents people getting carried away in my opinion.
I ended up playing 3 Coin Volcanoes to compete for a slice of 1.5 million GC, 10 free SC, and 25 Crystals. Their SC tournaments have a minimum play requirement of 0.2 SC per spin, and you’re given the same 500 rounds to use on eligible games.
So long as you meet the minimum play requirement for each tournament, your points and prizes are based exclusively on the number of massive multipliers you’re able to achieve. I didn’t manage to walk away with a prize, but there’s a lot to like about this promo.
Refer-A-Friend Bonus
Chip’n Win’s referral bonus promises rewards for you and a friend. When they sign up and make $20+ in purchases with your invitation link, you get 10,000 GC and 20 free SC. As an added gift, your friend earns another 10,000 GC, 5 free SC and 15 Crystals to enhance their first purchase.
I chose to test this promotion with my co-worker.
I opened “Promo” and selected “Copy Link” next to “Invite Friends.” My co-worker created a new account before purchasing 30,000 GC, 30 free SC, and 13 Crystals for $29.99 to satisfy the $20 requirement for this offer. I earned 10,000 GC and 20 free SC just an hour after they bought GC.
My friend received an automatic bonus of 10,000 GC, 5 free SC, and 15 Crystals upon finalizing her initial GC purchase.
There’s no limit on the number of friends you’re able to invite..
Social Media Giveaways
Chip’n Win has a strong presence on Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter). In addition to using their socials for game announcements and important updates, they host frequent giveaways for lucky followers. I like their creative event formats, and their prizes are fairly sizable for little work.
For example, their Look-Alike Quizzes require players to spot the difference between two photos before commenting, following them, and tagging two friends. Two winners are chosen at random to pocket 200,000 GC and 20 SC each, and you’ll be notified through email if you’re chosen by their team.
Mail-in Offers
Chip’n Win accepts mail-in requests from their players. According to Section 4.7 of their Sweeps Rules, you’ll earn 1 free SC for each request that gets accepted. This is a paltry offer compared to Chumba and McLuck, which deliver 4 – 5 free SC per envelope for the same amount of work.
Each request must contain a unique 12-digit Postal Request Code, which you can generate by clicking “Alternative Request Code” from their site footer while you’re logged into your account.
You can request one unique code every 24 hours, limiting you to one mailed request each day.
There’s no information on when (or how) each code is slated to expire, which they should add for transparency’s sake. The remainder of your request should be written on a piece of 3” x 5” paper bearing your account ID, name, birthday, phone number, email, and sweeps statement.
Personally, I wouldn’t waste my time doing this for 1 free SC per envelope, as completing daily tasks is a much quicker way of achieving similar results. I’d like to see better SC rewards for sending in envelopes.
My Experience Opening an Account at Chip’n Win
It took me just five minutes to sign up with Chip’n Win and claim their no-deposit reward. Here’s what I did to get started:
- Visit Chip’n Win’s website: Visit Chip’n Win’s website and click “Sign Up” to begin.
- Choose your registration method: Decide whether you’d like to register with Google, Facebook, or your email address. I signed up with my email to document the process from scratch.
- Enter your personal details: Enter your email address and create a new password.
- Agree to their terms: Read Chip’n Win’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy using the links provided. Once finished, check the boxes to agree with their Terms of Use and certify you’re at least 18 years old. Click “Complete Registration” to finish signing up. After taking this step, you’ll receive 15,000 GC and 15 Crystals.
- Verify your email: Open your email inbox and look for a new message from Chip’n Win. Enter your unique four-digit code and you’ll be prompted to complete your account profile. If you want, you can verify your phone and follow them on Facebook to get more Crystals.
- Complete your profile: Enter a new screen name or use the one that’s been randomly chosen for you. Type your first name, last name and birthday before selecting your state of residence from the drop-down menu. Select “Create Account” to finalize your account.
I was able to start playing right away, and Chip’n Win goes so far as to recommend starting slots after you select GC Mode or SC Mode. I love how it’s easy to jump straight into the action here.
What I Liked and Disliked About Chip’n Win
Chip’n Win’s modern selection of slots and specialties, unique Crystal Store, mystery bonuses, GC/SC tournaments, frequent giveaways, and live chat support were highlights during the week I spent testing their platform.
By far the biggest downside is their policies surrounding sweepstakes redemptions, which are very restrictive in my opinion.

My Thoughts on the Game Selection at Chip’n Win
Chip’n Win Game Details
Slots | 600 |
Jackpots | – |
Table Games | – |
Live Dealer Games | – |
Instant-Win Games | 19 |
Average RTP | N/A |
Game Providers | Onlyplay, Playson, Habanero, 3 Oaks Gaming, Gamzix, Turbo Games, Platipus |
Demo Play | No |
Chip’n Win features a total of 619 slots and specialties, but they don’t host any virtual tables or card games to accommodate players seeking more diversity. They’re also missing progressive jackpots and live dealer options.
As it is, I had a lot of fun with the current library, but it does feel quite one dimensional.
Viewed from a different perspective, Chip’n Win unapologetically caters to beginners, casual slot players, and tournament fans.
Slots
Slots are the main draw at Chip’n Win, with a diverse menu powered by just six different software providers. If slots are your thing, I’m confident you’ll find plenty to like here.
Chip’n Win makes it possible to sort games by software provider, popularity, alphabetical order, reverse alphabetical order, bonus availability, prize potential, category, or theme with just a few clicks.
I used their top row of categories to find 22 Megaways from 3 Oaks Gaming, Platipus, Playson and Habanero. While progressive jackpots aren’t available at Chip’n Win, Megaways games like Rocket Wins and Posh Cats promise their own set of multiplier-based prizes depending on your GC/SC bet size.
I made sure I was spending at least 200 GC per spin to participate in Chip’n Win’s Friday Spring Tournament, but you can spend as little as 100 GC / 0.2 SC or as much as 20,000 GC / 10 SC a spin on the vast majority of their slots.
It’s cool how Chip’n Win pays attention to the little things, and their themed collection just for St. Patrick’s Day is a great example of their commitment to keeping their menu updated. If you’re looking for something that’s closer to the games you’d find in Las Vegas, I loved their Fire Friday collection.
I was very impressed with the variety of different themes and concepts. It’s clear that Chip’n Win is invested in providing creative games that go beyond the standard fair.
I had a blast with Soju Bomb by Habanero, which I guess is based on a Korean cocktail. Double-O Dollars is another must-try for James Bond fans.
Chip’n Win sets their brand apart from other slots-focused social casinos with a series of game recommendations chosen by actual players. If you open their “Ambassadors” tab, you’re able to see the exact names of titles that other people are currently enjoying.
I loved this feature, which made me feel like I was part of an ecosystem rather than just another individual player. This is what social gaming is all about, and I’d love to see more casinos adopt similar approaches.
In terms of improvements, I would like to see some more software providers added down the line. I missed Pragmatic Play games, which are a staple at sweeps casinos. It could also have the added benefit of giving players access to exciting virtual table and card games.
Table Games
Chip’n Win doesn’t have any virtual tables or card games on deck. I recommend Chumba Casino if that’s what you’re after.
Live Dealer Games
Chip’n Win doesn’t have any live dealer options. Hello Millions and McLuck are two of my favorites for live games.
Instant-Win Games
Chip’n Win partners with Turbo Games, Platipus, and Onlyplay to host 19 instant-win specialties ranging from Mines to scratchers. Instead of recycling old games, I was impressed with several brand-new titles including Lucky Punch, Fruit Towers, Jewel Clicker, and Vortex.
Vortex is a multiplier-based game of chance that delivers prizes worth up to 200x your bet size. Each spin builds on the last, giving you an option to collect your chips or keep going until you lose it all on a bad play.
Fruit Towers is another fun game that promises light-hearted entertainment. Your objective is to collect bananas while avoiding mines. Each row of barrels will have just one bomb hidden near the beginning, but as you continue collecting fruit to earn coins, the field gets harder to navigate.
Most of the games in this section follow a similar pattern: either crash style where you need to cash out before you lose, or simple click-and-win style prizes.
Chip’n Win Payment and Redemption Experience
You’re not obligated to buy coins before playing games at Chip’n Win. Their no-deposit bonus gives you 15,000 GC and 15 Crystals to match. I collected daily rewards starting at 3,000 GC, 0.25 free SC, and 1 Crystal. Given all their promos, I never felt pressured to make a purchase.
However, you can buy more GC with real money if you’re running low on coins. I’m not a fan of their $4.99 purchase minimum, and I don’t like how they essentially force users to buy coins if they want to redeem more than $40 worth of prizes. Here’s a closer look at what I discovered:
Chip’n Win Payment Details
Payment methods | Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay |
Minimum purchase | $4.99 |
Minimum prize redemption | 50 SC for gift cards, 100 SC for cash prizes |
Prize redemption time | Instant – 24 hours (gift card), 1 – 5 days (ACH) |
Payments
Chip’n Win accepts Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay on both desktop and mobile. I would like to see them accept more popular e-wallets for payments, including PayPal and Skrill.
New players can opt for any of three potential discounts with their first GC purchase:
- 50,000 GC + 28 free SC + 18 Crystals – $19.99 (was $50)
- 120,000 GC + 52 free SC + 36 Crystals – $39.99 (was $120)
- 750,000 GC + 350 free SC + 270 Crystals – $299.99 (was $750)
Here’s a look at their non-discounted GC purchase menu:
- 5,000 GC + 5 free SC – $4.99
- 10,000 GC + 10 free SC – $9.99
- 20,000 GC + 20 free SC + 9 Crystals – $19.99
- 30,000 GC + 30 free SC + 13 Crystals – $29.99
- 50,000 GC + 50 free SC + 22 Crystals – $49.99
- 100,000 GC + 100 free SC + 45 Crystals – $99.99
- 200,000 GC + 200 free SC + 90 Crystals – $199.99
I opted into their $19.99 first purchase discount. They’ve made it simple to pay for coins using a bank card, and the process becomes even easier if you’ve already linked your details with GPay or Apple Pay. From start to finish, it took me only 60 seconds to purchase coins for the first time.
Here’s how I made my way through the process:
- Click “Wallet” at the top-right corner.
- Choose your GC bundle on the next page.
- Click “Pay Now” next to “Pay With A Card.”
- Enter your card number, expiry date, name, and billing address.
- Click “Pay” and refresh the page to finalize your purchase.
I received 50,000 GC, 28 free Sweeps Coins, and 18 Crystals immediately after refreshing their website, making it possible to play games right away. If you’re just starting out, don’t worry – the process is no more difficult than shopping online.
Redemptions
You must win at least 50 SC during gameplay to request a gift card prize, and you must earn at least 100 SC if you want to request ACH prizes.
According to Section 7.4 of their Sweeps Rules, the maximum amount of winnings that can be redeemed from play with free prizes is just 40 SC.
In other words, all the SC you collect from exchanging Crystals in the Crystal Store, opting into daily rewards, and completing daily challenges has strings attached. Even if you win 100 SC on free spins, you can only redeem 40 SC.
Even worse, the minimum redemption is 50 SC for a gift card, so at the moment you effectively can’t get any prize from bonus SC winnings alone.
This was a real disappointment for me. I also think it’s kind of sneaky, as I had to look hard before coming across this piece of information. I can easily see casual players not realizing this was the case until they tried to make a redemption.
The way to avoid this limit is through purchasing Gold Coins and claiming free SC as a bonus, which isn’t capped. If you claim their daily login bonus and make a purchase, you now have “free SC” and “SC from a GC purchase.” Chip’n Win calculates your eligible redemption based on proportions.
Interestingly, if you refer friends to the site and play games with the SC you receive from their referral bonus, there’s no upper limit on the prizes you can redeem.
In my opinion, all of this small print very much goes against the spirit of free social gaming, and it’s the reason I would shy away from recommending this casino to casual players who are hoping to make some redemptions without spending much money.
In my case, as I was testing out the purchase options for this review, I was exempt from these conditions by the time I got around to redeeming 50 SC.
You can request prizes through gift card or request a cash prize back to your debit card, but there’s no option to request a bank transfer.
Here’s how to request your first prize redemption at Chip’n Win:
- Open “Wallet” and then “Redeem” to get started.
- Select “Debit Card” or “Gift Card.”
- If you choose a gift card, select a retailer and confirm your info.
- If you choose debit, confirm your card information.
- Enter the number of SC you want to redeem for prizes.
- Wait for delivery to your email inbox or bank account.
I got a Taco Bell gift card worth $50 delivered to my inbox just 15 minutes after requesting it. Later during the week, I sent a cash prize back to my debit card and I saw a $100 deposit hit
my account in two hours’ time. The speed with which my requests were processed was impressive.
Redemptions are limited to 1,000 SC per day, so if you’ve won a few thousand bucks, you’ll have to request multiple transactions using debit. Redemptions over $3,000 are subject to a week of extra processing time, and you’re only able to redeem 5,000 SC from any single win.
Before your first prize redemption gets approved, you’ll be asked to complete Chip’n Win’s KYC verification process. I was prompted to submit a picture of my driver’s license and take a selfie. My submission was approved 30 seconds later, at which point I was able to redeem SC prizes.
Overall, my redemption experience wasn’t positive simply because of that sneaky 40 SC limit on bonus SC.

Overall User Experience – Is Chip’n Win Fun to Play At?
Chip’n Win is generally a lot of fun to play at. While I could do with fewer advertisements and promotions on their homepage for both desktop and mobile, they don’t shove pop-ups down your throat at any point. I enjoyed quick loading speeds, colorful graphics, and advanced search features too.
From small adornments like the St. Patrick’s Day clovers that decorate the homepage during my March review, to more noticeable additions such as their bottom menu on mobile, Chip’n Win leaves no stone unturned to deliver an experience that feels just as modern and adaptable as it does beginner-friendly and simple.
That’s a hard mixture to master, but they’ve hit the nail on the head no matter which device you prefer to play on.
Desktop
I’m a fan of Chip’n Win’s interactive user interface, collapsible left sidebar, running list of wins, and player-recommended games. Although I’m not someone who buys a ton of coins, players who like to make purchases can take advantage of discounts on the homepage after logging in.
Although their homepage pulled my attention in a lot of different directions, I never felt inundated by pop-up advertisements. They’ve done a good job of toning their promotions down to just banners, which I can live with.
I used the left sidebar to participate in daily quests, spin the Crystal Wheel, and take part in free tournaments. Your favorites and recently played titles are accessible underneath “Home.”
I initially had some trouble finding how to contact support, but then I found the live chat by clicking on the “Personal Manager” button.
If you want to save more space, click the top-left arrow to expand or collapse the sidebar.
I really like how they’ve made room for player’s voices to be heard with real-time recommendations on their homepage. You can even find more suggested slots by clicking “Ambassadors” under “Games.”
From the homepage, the games are divided into the following categories:
- Recent Top Wins
- Player Choice
- Favorites
- Leprechaun’s Choice
- Top
- Game Review
- Fire Friday
- Recently Played
- New
- Promo
- Providers
- Big Prizes
- Non-Stop Fun
Chip’n Win follows in Pulsz Casino’s footsteps by providing written reviews when you click into a game. This is a great touch in my opinion, and especially useful for beginners.
Opening a also game shows you the minimum/maximum round limits, the maximum prize available for GC/SC, the machine’s estimated volatility, and whether there’s a bonus feature available. You can also try other recommended games based on whatever icon you’ve just opened.
Mobile
I wasn’t able to find a proper app for Chip’n Win on the App Store or Google Play, but their site runs smoothly on Google Chrome. Their interface looks similar across the board, so beginners won’t have any trouble transitioning between desktop and mobile.
At the same time, they’ve made some necessary design changes that enhanced my experience. While their Quick Buy tab and Player Choice recommendations are in the same places, most of their desktop settings and functions are concealed using the bottom-row menu.
I was able to launch the left sidebar by clicking “Menu” at the bottom-left corner, and their bright purple “Wallet” icon made it easy to pinpoint their GC purchase options using my iPhone 16. It’s similarly easy to view games, pull up search features, and open their Crystal Store with one tap.
Although I’d like to see them create a web app for space-saving purposes, I enjoyed using my phone to play. On balance, I still prefer the larger screen, but I’m happy to recommend Chip’n Win for mobile players.
Is the Customer Support Any Good?
Yes, I was happy with the customer support on offer from Chip’n Win. They offer free live chat and email support. They don’t have a dedicated phone line, which isn’t a deal breaker in my opinion. Live chat is my gold standard, and it worked perfectly.
Their team addressed my basic questions about claiming login rewards and satisfying redemption requirements with ease.
Chip’n Win doesn’t have an FAQ page exactly, but they do have a blog section that supplies some of the information I would expect to find there.
I clicked “Personal Manager” from their sidebar to open their live chat form, and I got immediate responses during usual business hours. I only waited 5 – 10 minutes before getting replies in the evening. If you have an urgent matter, I got the quickest replies between 9 AM and 5 PM (EST).
Later during the week, I emailed [email protected] and I got a response 12 hours later. I’d like to see them implement a more traditional FAQ page and ticket support form going forward.
As a recap, here’s how you can get in touch with support at Chip’n Win:
- 24/7 live chat (click “Personal Manager”)
- Direct email ([email protected])
- How It Works/Blog (misc. information)

What Do The Reviews Say?
Chip’n Win has a 3.3 out of 5 star TrustScore based on 49 reviews. 51% of respondents left a five star rating, but 39% of reviewers dropped just one star. Satisfied gamers like their speedy gift card prizes and live chat support, but a majority of players have exactly the same issues as me.
According to their Sweeps Rules, you’re only able to redeem a maximum of 40 SC using free bonus coins. It’s clear that this is a sore point for all kinds of players.
Are There Any Responsible Gaming Resources?
Yes, Chip’n Win offers industry-standard responsible gaming resources and tools. I got automated Activity Reminders every four hours during testing. You can disable this feature if you like, but it’s a great tool for staying conscious of how much time you’re spending online.
You can set daily, weekly, or monthly GC purchase limits by emailing [email protected]. There’s no option to implement SC play limits.
If you need a break, you’re able to impose a temporary account closure for as little as 24 hours. Players who need a longer break from Chip’n Win should request a self-exclusion for at least six months. Their “Responsible Gaming Policy” shows you how to spot signs of a behavior disorder.
I also like how they’ve linked to reputable organizations for users struggling to maintain control.
They encourage you to get in touch with Gaming Addicts Anonymous (GAA), call the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1 (800) 522 4700, or read materials from Smart Social Gamers.
What’s the Difference Between Chip’n Win and a Real Money Casino?
Chip’n Win is a sweepstakes casino that doesn’t offer real money gambling. You can play their games for free using Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC). They also introduce a third currency called Crystals, which are exchangeable for GC bonuses, SC bonuses, free SC spins on popular slots, and spins on their Crystal Wheel.
Although you can buy GC with real cash, they have no prize redemption value. It’s not possible to buy SC/Crystals outright – they’re only given as a bonus. If you want to participate in sweeps contests, you must play using SC. You can redeem your winnings for cash and gift card prizes.
Because they don’t accept real money for wagering purposes, they operate under sweepstakes laws. That’s how they can operate legally, even in U.S. states that prohibit real money gambling.

How We Rate Sweepstakes Casinos
Our team relies on first-hand research to analyze sweepstakes casinos from the bottom-up. We make new accounts, play games, and test features over a week’s time. We explain our honest thoughts and opinions about each platform, based on a number of criteria.
For each review, we dedicate at least two hours of research towards the following five areas:
- Bonuses & Promotions: Starting with a casino’s no-deposit bonus, we claim each offer that’s available at a casino. We keep tabs on VIP benefits, follow sites on socials to look for giveaways, and play games to partake in tournaments. We record the steps required to get bonuses, show you how to claim them too, and base our ratings on their accessibility and overall value.
- Games: We play slots, tables, and specialties from a wide range of software providers at each casino we review. Our team loves to see a blend of popular slots, originals, jackpot games, live tables and virtual card games. We also appreciate sites that specialize in areas like sports betting or live poker. Our ratings are based on quality and diversity.
- Payment Options: We purchase coins, get KYC-verified and redeem prizes at each site we review. Our team documents each site’s payment methods, and we prioritize casinos that take e-wallets like PayPal/Skrill. We like to see beginner-friendly redemptions, low minimum purchase requirements, and plenty of GC discounts on deck for new players.
- User Experience: Our experts evaluate how a site feels to use on desktop and mobile. If we can’t find a proper app for iOS/Android, we focus on the usability of their site as it pertains to all platforms. We like to see comprehensive search filters, organized menus, beginner-friendly instructions for complicated procedures, and instant loading speeds.
- Customer Support: We get in touch with real support agents using any contact method we can find. We prioritize sites that deliver 24/7 chat and phone support, but we get our hands dirty to send emails, submit support tickets, and send messages on social media. Our experts document reply speeds and base ratings on each team’s general efficiency.
Why Trust SweepsChaser?
At SweepsChaser, we help our readers understand what the industry’s newest and best sweepstakes casinos and sportsbooks are all about. We provide honest opinions based on personal experience, and we show our audience how to choose the right platform for their needs.
We bring decades of hands-on experience to the table. We’ve been playing games online since the early days of the internet and we’ve seen dozens of trends come and go.
Although we like to shout out great sites, we’re not here to cheerlead. If we don’t like something, we explain why and how it can be improved. We never endorse social casinos and sportsbooks we wouldn’t want to use in our spare time.
Would I Recommend Chip’n Win?
Chip’n Win is a great platform for GC players and for slots fans that don’t mind making a purchase if they want to redeem prizes. I had a lot of fun with the gaming menu, although fans of table games and live games will be disappointed.
I loved the variety of promotions I found during my week on the site. From giveaways to leaderboards, it always felt like there was something new happening. Crystals are a fun and creative addition to the experience too, even though I’d prefer to get some guaranteed SC in the welcome bonus.
By far my biggest criticism is the restrictions on SC redemptions, which effectively force you to make a purchase if you want a realistic shot of redeeming prizes. I also didn’t appreciate that the info was hidden in the small print, which felt misleading.
While Chip’n Win has a lot of potential, they need to abandon their less-than-transparent limits for prize redemptions before they can effectively compete with top sites like Chumba and McLuck.
